ABOUT "THE SLACKER" SKI:
The Slacker is an all-terrain freestyle ski designed with uphill efficiency, while maintaining the solid, intuitive downhill performance J skis are known for. Built with the backcountry in mind, its weight-conscious aspen core construction coupled with maple running over the edges gives it a light yet one-of-a-kind solid feel. There's a subtle tail notch in the tail for reliable skin tail clip retention making touring easy without looking like a skimo nerd. We also offer pre-cut Pomoca skins that fit perfectly and are ready to go touring right out of the box! Unlike others, the Slacker is as home ripping around the resort as it is out of bounds, leaving traditional uphill specific skis behind. Smash, surf, play and have more fun adventuring off the beaten path. Go earn ‘em!
ABOUT THE "FIRST TRACKS" GRAPHIC:
Chris Delorenzo is an artist hailing from the ice coast of Boston, Massachusetts. We're big fans of his unique style with super clean lines and simplified flowing illustrations and always sneaking in there more to discover each time you take a closer look.
There's a piece he previously created of pine trees that caught my eye so I gave him a call. After a little brainstorming we set out to use the long vertical ski canvas to visually tell the classic story of an epic day in the backcountry. Starting at the tail rolling up in your camper, then going for a walk in the woods, meeting critters along the way towards the prize at the top. When you get there, you pull off your skins with a mountain of pristine powder in front of you, ready to drop in to get the best “first tracks” of your life.
ABOUT FACTORY BLEMISH SKIS:
Blemish skis are brand new, however have a cosmetic defect in the graphic for example a small part of the top or base graphic is slightly off center or there is a gentle scuff that happened during handling at the factory. These cosmetic blemishes have no effect on the ski's performance or durability and most of the time you won't even be able to see the graphic defect. Sorry but I can NOT find out what the specific blemish is on a particular ski, it would be too time consuming, you likely won't even notice it yourself.
- Prodeal discounts can not be used for purchase of this product because I'd lose money selling you these skis and go out of business thus not be able to make skiing great again leading to the demise of the sport thus ski resorts shutting down and replaced by coal mines that create dirty energy spewing too much pollution into the air leading to the eventual self extinction of the human race. You know what I'm saying?
