ABOUT "THE ALLPLAY" SKI:
Regardless of the terrain, these light and nimble skis are no work… ALL PLAY! Their versatile 98mm width and innovative shape and flex provide the best of all worlds. Reliable precision under foot for ripping all-mtn, wide enough to easily float boot deep freshies in the trees, and a light, playful, buttery feel for throwing tricks in the park & all over the hill. Its unique, forgiving flex is evenly distributed throughout the entire length of the ski, which enables it to easily conform to all transitions and terrain for added confidence in bumps and throwing tricks off every feature you come across. I designed the tips with a very gentle rocker and early tapper shape for a catch-free, effortless, surfy feel. You’ll be able to quickly pivot in tight zones and never have to worry about catching an edge again, even in the pow. The Allplay is guaranteed to be the most fun, playful and versatile skis you’ve ever ridden turning the entire mountain into your personal playground.
ABOUT THE "CEDAR" GRAPHIC:
I'm releasing to the public this new Limited Edition collaboration with artist Phil Gray. I've always been a huge fan of the the artwork created by the indigenous people of the Pacific North West. Phil's carvings have an incredibly smooth flow of shapes that blend together to create amazing abstract animals inspired by legends. Applying Phil's artwork to The Allplay ski has created a ski graphic that looks like nothing we've ever done before. Phil was born in Vancouver British Columbia and is half Tsimshian and Cree. He began carving in 1998 and he has stayed true to creating his work in the traditional Ts'msyen style. It is a very strict traditional art form so not many people are do it.
He works in red cedar because it's a versatile wood that is also quite soft but holds a lot of detail. This piece is a design of an abstract killer wale. He starts by drawing on the wood, then he paints the shapes and starts carving to relieve all of the negative space. He then refines it on the second pass and on third pass he focuses on the detailed finishing that looks sanded, but is actually 100% tool finished! Phil enjoys sculpturing because there's always new ways to tweak and improve the process to make the next piece different from the last. He's received many awards for his work including a British Columbia Creative Achievement Award in Aboriginal Art from the Government of British Columbia
ABOUT FACTORY BLEMISH SKIS:
Blemish skis are brand new, however have a cosmetic defect in the graphic for example a small part of the top or base graphic is slightly off center or there is a gentle scuff that happened during handling at the factory. These cosmetic blemishes have no effect on the ski's performance or durability and most of the time you won't even be able to see the graphic defect. Sorry but I can NOT find out what the specific blemish is on a particular ski, it would be too time consuming, you likely won't even notice it yourself.
All skis are guaranteed to perform 100% and are backed by my standard 100% money back guarantee.
- Prodeal discounts can not be used for purchase of this product because I'd lose money selling you these skis and go out of business thus not be able to make skiing great again leading to the demise of the sport thus ski resorts shutting down and replaced by coal mines that create dirty energy spewing too much pollution into the air leading to the eventual self extinction of the human race. You know what I'm saying?
