J SKIS AT LEVEL 1 SUPERUNKNOWN
CONGRATULATIONS Audrey Friess, Justin "Juice" Kennedy, and returning winner Mat Dufresne for making it into this year's Level 1 SuperUnknown event!
For their 20th year of SuperUnknown, Level 1 is bringing the party back to Mammoth: "Finalists will join us at Mammoth Mountain from April 19th through April 26, including 10 Men and 6 Women. After a week of shredding and shooting, the athletes will cast their votes for the winners of the 20th SuperUnknown!"
Level 1 SuperUnknown is a yearly event where skiers from around the globe submit entry videos for a chance to be invited to a week of filming at a private park with Level 1 Productions. This is a huge opportunity for skiers to make a name for themselves in the industry and make lifelong connections.
AUDREY FRIESS
Originally from Ohio, Audrey now lives in Bozeman and has been on a tear this year, logging tons of hours in the streets, stacking pow clips and even scoring an invite to the Dew Tour! Audrey continues to be an inspiration for young female skiers looking to get into street skiing.
JUSTIN "JUICE" KENNEDY
Juice is an Idaho native and head honcho of the Onslaught Crew, a group of skiers known for their annual films and dedicated involvement in the growth of the ski community. When Juice isn't organizing an "Urban Air" contest for the Idaho Potato Drop (seriously, look it up) he's traveling around in his van going wherever the snow takes him.
MATHIEU DUFRESNE
Mat lives just a few hours North of us across the Canadian border in Quebec and is equivalent to a Swiss Army Knife of skiing. His talent and versatility landed him a spot as a SuperUnknown XIX finalist last year where he ended up taking home the crown! As a past winner, Mat has been invited back to this year's event.
