Seasonal Customer Service Agent
September-March
$18-$20/hr Depending on Experience.
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and self-motivated Customer Experience Agent to join our small, fun-loving crew at J skis. This seasonal role runs from September through March, averaging 35–40 hours per week. You’ll play a key role in supporting our customers through one of the most exciting parts of their year - getting ready for ski season!
Schedule
- Mix of 9am–5pm EST and 4pm–12am EST shifts each week
- We aim to provide two consecutive days off each week and keep a consistent weekly schedule
- Fully remote (US only)
Key Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries via email (HelpScout), SMS, Zoom Phone, and socials (ManyChat/Facebook Messenger/Instagram)
- Assist with returns, warranties, and shipping claims via Redo
- Manage and edit orders using Shopify and coordinate with our warehouse 3PL
- Provide product knowledge and sizing support for skis, apparel, and gear
- Monitor and respond to Klaviyo reviews
- Collaborate closely with our tight-knit team to ensure smooth daily ops and a rad customer experience

You Are…
- A passionate skier with years of experience on snow and a deep understanding of ski gear—whether it’s construction, camber profiles, or how a ski feels on edge, you know your stuff
- A natural salesperson with experience selling technical or enthusiast-driven products—you know how to guide people toward the right gear and make them feel confident in their decision
- The type who’s always reading gear reviews, nerding out on specs, and helping friends pick skis
- Friendly, fast, and clear in your communication
- Obsessed with accuracy and solving problems for people
- Exceptionally organized and comfortable juggling multiple platforms and tools
- A dependable teammate who thrives working independently and remotely
- Available to work both daytime and evening shifts
