Skitar

Shred the slopes or open mic night jammin on this one-of-a-kind guitar!  These custom hand crafted electric guitars are made of actual J skis. Each "Skitar" is unique, hand crafted by Britton Bonella, a skier in UT that has been building skitars for years. He's a local legend spotted daily on the hill with his skitar in hand, and amp over his shoulder jammin' tunes while riding the chair up and even shredding down!

Skitars are twice as simple and half as hard to play as a guitar. They are fretted in Dorian mode and in a minor key. What that means is: THERE ARE NO WRONG NOTES (as long as it's in tune)! You can't play anything too cute on a Skitar, but blues sounds just pour out of it!
