Then she comes in with precise acrylic brushwork to build the detailed mountain landscape on top of it. The result is paintings that feel simultaneously cosmic and intimate.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat gets me about this particular piece is the deep cobalts and violets. This dramatic graphic captures the actual canvas texture, which shows up beautifully on the ski and gives it this incredible tactile depth.
