She's self-taught, works in acrylics, and paints with no constraints, just this relentless curiosity about how color and light interact in nature. Her paintings of forested scenes are known for capturing that specific moment when the late afternoon sun hits the spaces between trees.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is one of those skis where proximity completely changes what you see. She says, “I enjoy sharing my passions with my students and colleagues.
